HANNA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB- ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – NOVEMBER 27TH, 2025

Meeting called to order at 6:07PM by President, Tyler Price
Jerry approved the agenda – all in favour
Club House Report – Tyler spoke on behalf of the Club House Manger: Rob F has given his notice as Club House Manger, effective October 24th, 2025. Memberships were up by a total of 16, which includes Adult and Juniors.
Brenda K approved the Club House Report – all in favour.
Maintenance Report – Course is officially winterized, as of October 27th, 2025. The greens have all been aerated (other than 12 and 13). Overall, Kevin was happy with how his season went and was happy with his volunteers and staff. There was large praise from the members in attendance about the shape of the course and how great it looked all summer long.
Larry approved the Maintenance Report – all in favour.
Financial Report – Nate reported that it was a great year over all for the HGCC. With memberships being up, and the slight increase in liquor and food prices, we seen a profit this season. There was discussion from the members about how we could generate such revenue. Nate and Tyler both reassured the members that it was accurate. It was noted that a membership increase (cost of purchase) will need to happen this season to ensure that we continue to create profit.
Chris W approved the Financial Report – all in favour.
Open Positions – The posting for the new Club House Manager will be posted in early 2026.
2025 completed projects and 2026 upcoming projects – The cart paths will continue to receive asphalt millings going into 2026 and resources allow.
Bylaw changes – A motion was made to add to the bylaws under section 2 membership:
The Executive shall have the power to increase all pricing/rates to a maximum of 10% per year without member vote. Any % over 10% would require to be voted on by the membership at the FALL AGM. Reasoning to be provided to the membership at the FALL AGM.”
Price Increase – referred to in a presented “Appendix A”
Option #1 – 10% increase across all rates
Option #2 – Flat rates increase across all rates.
*Rates last increased by 10% in October 2024.
Jerry H made a motion to increase rates by 10% - All in favour.
Open volunteer positions – Tyler made a motion to remove himself as the HGCC President. Chris W approved. This leaves us with vacancies in the following positions: President and Vice President.
President:
Chris W nominated Terry D – declined
Robin G nominated Chris W – declined
Garrett B nominated Tarrah G – accepted
Nominations cease – TARRAH G is the new President
Vice President:
Chris W nominated Abigail W – accepted
Nominations cease – ABIGAIL W is the new Vice President
Nathanial Warwick will remain Treasurer
Sammi Lee will remain as Secretary.
